Clean and prep your installation area.  Then use this to increase the adhesion of film and vinyl graphics.

  • Promotes adhesion to polyethylene, polypropylene, ABS, PET/PBT blends and other on difficult to stick to substrates
  • Commonly used for increasing adhesion of film and vinyl graphics in automotive detailing
  • Can be applied with brush or swab for small areas and a pressurized flow gun for larger areas
  • Dries to a clear finish
  • Cleans up with isopropyl alcohol

Only apply to the area which will be completely covered with double sided tape or vinyl.

Worked for Me!!

I purchased a small plastic "air scoop" for my Smart car. It attaches via 3M double-sided tape. The scoop USED TO come with the 3M primer pen, but they no longer do.
At first I was contemplating adding the accessory without the primer pen, but I opted against it and instead chose to order a 3M primer pen. Well, it worked very well! I've taken the car onto the highway multiple times and the air scoop is still attached! I'd definitely recommend the 3M primer pen for anyone attaching something plastic to the outside of your vehicle. Thanks.
